Admission

  1. Admissions to the Institute for various trades are open to all candidates. However, no admission can be demanded by any one as a right. Candidates desirous of seeking admission to any course must have the following qualifications and requirements.
  2. The Candidate should pass S.S.C. in Maharashtra State Board
  3. Application forms along with prospectus can be obtained from theInstitute’s Office between 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon & 12.30 pm. To 4.30p.m. on any working day on payment of Rs 200/
  4. Application form should be submitted in the office within 10 days on the date of declaration of S.S.C. Examination results of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education.
  5. Registration fee of Rs 100/-should be paid by the applicant at the time of submitting the application form.
  6. The selection to the course is based on each candidate’s aptitude to benefit from the training. Therefore the applicant will have to undergo an interview consequently Preference will be given to local students.
  7. The Interview Card and the receipt should be produced at the time of the written test and the interview.
  8. The following Original documents must be produced at the time of the Interview.
  9. S.C. Mark list.
  10. School/College Leaving Certificate
  11. At the time of admission:
  12. Parent/Guardian is required to furnish his/her specimen signature. This is required for verification as and when need arises.
  13. The candidate and his parent/guardian are also jointly required to sign a guarantee form/undertaking
  14. Fitness Certificate should be produced from a registered medical practitioner.
  15. Certificate showing Good Character and Conduct
  16. Blood Group Identification Certificate
  17. The academic year commences on 1st week of August. Regular classes are held everyday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 12.30 pm to 4,30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12.00 hrs Lunch breaks from 12 noon to 12.30p.m.
  18. The management reserves the right to cancel any batch/trade without any prior information due to insufficient number of students enrolled

Fees

The fee structure is liable to be changed at any time without any previous notice. Fees and other charges/dues should be paid in advance in cash. The Institute reserves the right to proceed against the trainee in respect of any dues of fees. A student who leaves the Institute before the completion of the course or a student whose conduct, attendance, behaviour and

progress are found unsatisfactory will be asked to leave the Institute. He will have to pay the entire fees of the course. Fees once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances. A fine of Rs. 25/- will be charged if the student fails to remit the fees in time. The collection of fee will be done at the beginning of every academic year. The Auto CAD fees have to be paid at the beginning of 2nd year.

Examination

In order to judge the progress of the trainees, there will be regular monthly and quarterly tests after which the progress report will be sent to the guardian for information.

Two years training will be completed in four semester and at the end of each semester NCVT exam will be held and an average of all semester exam marks will be considered for the final result. National trade certificate will be issued only after passing all the semester exam. Trainees will be given 5 chances in three years to pass the exam.

Students, who secure the highest marks in their respective trade in the final examination of the Institute, will be awarded a merit certificate. Such a student becomes eligible for the Maharashtra Skill Competition Test. One who secures the highest marks in this test is further awarded with a Silver Medal and a merit certificate by the Government of Maharashtra and he becomes eligible for the All India Skill Competition.

Rules And Regulations That Govern The Trainees

Discipline

In order that each trainee enjoys the full benefits of the facilities placed at his disposal and to safeguard the welfare and privilege of each and every one, the Institute insists on strict discipline. Indiscipline of any sort will not be tolerated and the same may result his dismissal.

Good Manners

Honesty and good behaviour are expected from each trainee Students. They  are bound to respect and obey the authorities and the instructors of the Institute. Smoking and use of alcoholic drinks, use of intoxicants of any sort are strictly prohibited in and around the premises of the Institute, Such students will be immediately terminated.

Causes that attract serious action

Irregular attendance, habitual laziness, inattentiveness in the class/workshop, disobedience, disregard to the rules and regulations, instigating other students and absence without leave or culpable negligence, constitute causes for taking serious action against a trainee. Persistent disobedience, failure to respond to official notices and warnings, objectionable conduct in or out of the Institute and habitual unsatisfactory work will result in the dismissal of a trainee

The authorities of the Institute reserve the right to dismiss unsuitable trainees at any point of time and the decision to this effect will be taken solely by the authorities.

Use of Mobile Phone and Music Devices

Use of mobile phone and Music Devices is strictly prohibited in the campus.

Attendance and Irregularity

Trainees who do not keep up to the requisite 80% attendance will be debarred from appearing from all quarterly examinations of the institute and for the semester exam conducted in NCVT

If a student is required to take leave from the Institute, during the course of the day for an emergency, the student must get the sanction from his class teacher/section-in-charge and a letter must be produced from the parent or Guardian to that effect.

If a student wants to withdraw from the Institute, parent or guardian should intimate the same in writing, giving satisfactory reasons. In such cases the remaining fee for the entire course to be paid.

Absence and Leave Letter

If a student is absent from any test or examination, he will be deemed to have failed in the same test or examination. Application for leave must be presented to the Principal and countersigned by one’s own guardian and leave for absence due to sickness must be supported by a Doctor’s Certificate Prior permission should be obtained for taking more than two days’ leave. No leave will be granted for any other examinations during the entire period of training.

Absconders

A trainee who absents himself from the Institute for 10 consecutive days without the written permission of the Principal is treated as an absconder. His name will be struck off from the rolls without any notice

Order and cleanliness

Students should keep their classrooms and workshops clean and tidy. Tools and instruments are to be cleaned and kept in their proper places and the machines cleaned and oiled before they leave the premises at the end of each working day.

Damage or Loss

The trainees must handle tools, furniture, electrical fittings, laboratory equipment, Computers, electronic equipment, machinery and other properties of the Institute with care and diligence. In cases of damage or loss, they must either replace the same or compensate for the loss caused therein.

Students should make every effort to take care the Institute and its property, and should not write on the blackboards without being asked for, nor scribble on tables, chairs, walls etc. Any wilful damage done to the property of the Institute will be dealt with as a breach of discipline.

Trespass

The trainees must not enter classes/workshops other than their own without the special permission of the instructor concerned/Section in Charge or the Principal.

Insurance for Accident

The Institute is not responsible for any accident or injury sustained to the trainee during the training period. Insurance against accident will be arranged for on receipt of a written request to this effect and the requisite premium will have to be paid in advance at the beginning of each academic year.

Parents/Guardians must meet the Principal/Instructor as and when required

Students are required to maintain the ethical and professional behaviour laid down by the Institutes authorities.

Any inconvenience or difficulty which an individual may experience should be made known to the Principal who in turn will try to solve it. No group representation is accepted; nor is it allowed to organise meetings, collect funds for any purpose without prior permission.

Uniform & Safety Shoes

All Trainees shall wear the Uniform and safety shoes during the working hours.

All trainees should maintain well kept & decent hair and dress style. Long hair style,  unkept beard etc. should be avoided.

Electrician

Duration :  2 Years

Subjects : Practical, Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Engineering Drawing, Employability Skills and Computer (Basic IT &AutoCAD 2013).

Syllabus :

Course include: Introduction of safety rules and regulations Elementary electricity, Electrolysis and cells, Effects of electrical current, Magnetism and Electro-magnetism, D.C. Generators, D.C.Motors, A.C.D.C., fundamentals, Polyphase systems, Transformers, Alternators A.C. Motors, Motor windings, Measuring instruments, Automobile electricity. Illumination, system of wiring, electrical appliance, etc. Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Utilization. In short the trainees should be able to undertake electrical installation independently and attend to the maintenance schedule. Repairing of domestic equipment’s, Study of electronic components, types of rectifier, Oscilloscope and working on Electronic Circuit. Illumination scheme, earthing method, A.C. simple circuit

Job Profile : Can get a job in Electrical firms, like Reliance Energy, Tata Electric, MSEB, L. & T. B M C Siemens, Railways and defence Ordinance Factory, etc. Can set up one’s own business.

Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (Petrol & Diesel)

Duration : 2 Years

Subject : Practical Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing Workshop Calculation & Science, Employability Skills and Computer (Basic IT &AutoCAD 2013)

Syllabus : A basic multi-skilled providing thorough understanding of the constructing and operating Principle of the modern automobiles (both Indian and foreign vehicles)

Courses Includes : Theory as well as practical includes, repairs, maintenance, overhauling, and refurbishing works of all types of vehicles Especially, body repair, chassis repair, reconditioning of valve, engine, clutches and gear box, propeller shaft differential and axe, brake system, steering system, suspension system, cooling system, Air-condition system, electrical system. Detecting various types of troubles occurring in the vehicles and rectifying thereof. General servicing of a vehicle in a systematic manner. Working of Multi-post fuel Injection System (M.PFI) with advanced technology. Engine management system, computerized wheel alignment and wheel balancing. Fault diagnosed by scanning machine (Computer). Exhaust gas analysed by Computer (P.U.C.), etc.

Job Profile : Employment- can get employment in vehicle manufacturing company, shipping industry, various transport companies, reputed workshops, rigs (ONGC), railways, airlines, military (EME), government and public work department and also in foreign countries ,Can start/set up one’s own workshop.

Draughtsman (Mechanical)

Duration : 2 Years

Subjects : Practical, Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation & Science, Employability Skills and Computer (Basic IT &AutoCAD 2013). Syllabus. A popular multi-skilled Draughtsman (mechanical) course, capable of providing universally the skill to communicate mechanical design and construction details.

Fitter

Duration : 2 Years
